I was watching a video from an 8-figure marketer (Matt Lloyd) and I realized that, as a business person, I have to utilize my time wisely. The time that I spend on my business is the time that I could have had somebody else do it at a faster and cheaper rate than myself.
I'm living in the Silicon Valley right now. I live here, work here, eat here and unfortunately, take a lot of things for granted...and I paid a big price tag just for living here compared to other places in the world. When I stop and thinking about building my business, I realize that there are people on the other side of the world that can do the same work that I do faster and cheaper. I'm sure that if you live in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, or any other huge country, the same thing applies.
Huge Companies in the United States are Outsourcing
Last month I bought a phone from Walmart's mobile service. It's extremely affordable and it satisfied my needs. In order to set it up, I had to call a toll free number. So I called and the operator picked up. The first thing that I noticed was that the operator (and all the other staff in the background) were operating from Mexico. It's just my guess, but I'm thinking that Walmart is able to provide an affordable price on their mobile service because they're outsourcing and saving a lot of money.
Isn't Outsourcing For Huge Companies?
If you're thinking that Walmart is huge and that they can afford to outsource, think again. Small business owners from all over the world are outsourcing. For me, outsourcing is a way to build my business more efficiently and to also offer somebody the opportunity to make money in exchange for the services that they provide.
